Dave Strod
Born in Riga, Latvia, Dave specialises in illustrative realism and bold opaque tattoos.
To him, his love of the craft comes from the connection between the client and himself; sat with him, they offer up their time and imprint their personality, and in turn, Dave imprints his art — in exchange he’s enjoyed all over Europe, tattooing in Germany, Denmark, Ireland, England, Italy, Poland, Portugal, and now, Scotland.
Tattooing since 2013, Dave draws inspiration from popular culture, film and TV, and people.
When he’s not tattooing, you’ll find him out and about exploring, or at home making furniture and art.
